Odd internet problem

I use a cable provider for my BB, its been acting very strangely

I normally use the network cable to hook up to the PC but the web connection seems to get slower & slower everyday, some sites load fine, others, ebay for example just wont load.

If I switch to the USB connection on the modem, everything works great, I thought initially it was my nework card updated the drivers and it worked again with no problems, until today where sites stopped loading again.

Its all very odd, Ive done every adaware/virus scan & found nowt.

Any ideas?

tried changing the wire maybe its a naff connection through wire or connector oxidation.
