oh god help me please

i put a dvd game into my sony vaio FS515E today, the system became irresponsive, and i had to take the disc out and restart the system, but now the machine runs slowly and the windows loading screen takes forever, and sound has become scratchy andit's not working properly, pleasepleaseplease say there is a way to fix this!!:smileycry:

When you say a DVD game do you mean a game to install from DVD or a game like Atmosfear etc that you would put in a home DVD player?

Hi David,

Try restoring your system to a point before you loaded the DVD...

System restore can be found in Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools.. Then click system restore, once the program loads, check 'Restore my computer to an earlier time' is selected, click next and follow the instructions..

i didnt install the game though, i just put it in, i will try system restore ty

heroes 3 of might and magic, it says the system cannot be restored to that point, and i have trieds several points of restoration...
