Hi all
I know I am taking a huge stab in the dark, but I need a replacement motherboard for my PCV-RX1 and was hoping that someone may have one, or know the whereabouts of one. If you do, there is a buyer waiting. This model mb is also used on a number of other RX systems.
Cheers.
You know if you change the Motherboard, then you can't use your any Sonysoftware more.
Are they serial number registered? I need a direct replacement for the vaio, but don't want to pay sony's repair prices as it is only available from sony, so I am hoping to get hold of a second hand mb. By the way it is an ASUS P4T-LE
You need Everest Home Edition to check, which Mainboard is in your VAIO. And yes, if you change your Mainboard, VAIO-Link doesn't recognizes your VAIO. Becaus it's not more a VAIO. But what is the problem with the Mainboard?
Hi
When I press the power button, the blue light on the front of the tower comes on, but I get no beeps and just the power supply and CPU fans spin, and it will go no further. The monitor will not power up, but I am able to power off by pressing the power button for a few seconds (as normal). I have tried another CPU, power supply and have removed the memory, but it is still the same. So the only thing left is motherboard that I can think of. It is definately an ASUS P4T-LE board, which is only available from sony.
