I recently purchased from Ebay a new Sony Vaio SVE1711F1EW. However, I recently discovered that the Recovery Partition is password protected? I have been unable as yet to contact the Ebay seller for further information as I am attempting to perform a recovery to factory spec but am prevented from doing so because of the password protection. Can anyone provide any advice as to how I can best proceed to return the laptop to original factory spec? Thank you.
