PCMCIA Slot Cover / Flap has snapped off
Hi people,
I have a VAIO VGN-S2XP.
The problem I have is that the little plastic flap which covers the PCMCIA Slot when not in use has somehow snapped off. Does anybody know where I might be able to get a replacement?
It wouldn't bother me too much but I've really looked after my laptop so this is really bugging me!
Thanks for any help guys!
Mark.

Might be able to order one through Vaio-Link. You could try with a local PC shop but they would invariably have to order the bit from Sony so you might end up paying more.

Hi Mark, long time no post
As Thal said, Nexttronics will probably have the part.

Thanks for the help guys. Looks like I should be able to get it from that NextTronics site even if I have to buy the entire side piece (Part 503). I think $18.61 is fairly reasonable too. I just need to figure out whether or not I'm actually going to be able to fit it myself if I go ahead and buy it!
Thanks again guys.
