I've had a Vaio (VGN-SZ2XP) upgraded to Vista for a little over a year now.
A few weeks ago I ran a format of the OS because it was becoming too slow. I reinstalled everything and I'm fairly happy to see that everything works well again.
I still have one question though. I am pretty sure that whenever I used to switch from battery to charge, my power options automaticall switched (ex. "max level of battery" when I run the Vaio on battery and "max performance" when it's on charge).
Now, whenever I switch, there is no change : the power option remains the same whether I'm on battery or on charge, which greatly sucks.
I have the latest version of Vaio Power management installed (at least I think it is the latest : 2.0.00.12190).
Does anyone know how I can get this back ?
