power supply break down - restart

this happens to my VGN-A115M once or twice a day. even if (or only if - I´m not quite sure) I´m connected to AC/DC. it happend the first time when I had a lecture in front of my students and when my VGN was connected to a video-beamer. but meanwhile it also breaks down and automatically restarts without beeing connected to a beamer.

why didnt you used the battery together with the power supply?

that is what I ment. I never removed the battery from my notebook. I just wanted to express that I´m not quite sure if this also happens with beeing ´on battery´ only. :smileythinking:

Wonder if this is just a reboot due to Windows rather than hardware?

Does Windows pop up a "Windows has recovered from a serious problem" on reboot?
