Quick web access button

This was working yesterday when I first used it, but when I tried just it says its not installed properly,now I havn't touched anything, so how do I get it back?

Before approaching Sony Support, I would try reinstalling the Quick Web Access.

You can reinstall QWA from your Recovery Partition, your Recovery discs or download it from Sony Vaio-Link Support here: -

When I go into programmes, it actually says it is installed, so why does it not work?

Have you tried reinstalling the program from the link I gave you?

yes but a black screen comes up with a message saying, "Quick web access is not installed on your system,or the installation is incomplete. To get internet access within seconds of starting your computer, please use the quick web access installer to install it"   I can get web access  normally when windows starts up so it is not a problem, but because the lap top is only a few days old, I wanted everything working?

I think you will need to have a word with Vaio Support.

They will probably ask you to carry out a full System Recovery back to factory settings to see if that fixes it - so make sure everything is backed up.
