Hi insonstis,
welcome to Club VAIO..
What model Vaio do you have.?
VGN-NS10L is the model
Reading your other post have you tried restoring your vaio using the recovery partition.?
As you probably know your Vaio has a hidden HDD recovery partition so as long as it has not been deleted or damaged by the virus you should be able to recover your Vaio back to the original installed OS and programs just as it was when you first used your Vaio.
To do this Start your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo screen press F10 repeatedly this normally would start the recovery process..
Sorry for starting a second thread lol
F10 only gives me the options of deleting either drive c or the whole computer which without the recovery cd or anyway to create one i didnt want to do that
When Vista reinstalled I noticed it installed on a partition so im assuming that the other partition would be the recovery part which assuming again it would have the drivers i need to use my wireless and such?
