Can anybody direct to me to where I can buy a recovery disc for the Sony Vaio VPCEB4L1E? I am aware you can create them through recovery centre but i got rid of all the pre installed software after I bought the Laptop and forgot to make one. Thanks.
Hi ChrisDLFC,
The recovery media is created from a hidden partition on the hard drive and does not rely on programs installed within Windows with the exception of Vaio Recovery Center. So assuming that you have not deleted the recovery partition you will still be able to create a complete set of disks.
Otherwise you will need to contact Support on the out of warranty telephone number to order a set. From the UK the number is 0905 0310006 (Fixed £0.35/min).

I still have the parititon on my hard drive(I can see it in Disk Managament) but it is not in My Computer how can I use this to create a recovery CD, thanks.
It will not be visible within My Computer as it is a hidden partition without drive letter.
Vaio Recovery Center will access this partition when making recovery media or recovering the machine to factory settings.
Assuming you still have Vaio Recovery Center installed open this and select ‘Create Recovery Disks’.
You can also access the recovery center by tapping F10 at boot.

As I said in the opening post, I removed Recovery Centre unfortunately, can I still access this by using F10 at start up and if not what are my options? I have a done a fresh install but now Windows won't accept the OEM key that is on the base of my PC and believe I now need to restoe to default factory settings.
Assuming that the recovery partition is intact, then yes you can access the recovery tools by tapping F10 at boot when you see the Vaio logo. After a short pause you will see a dialogue box to the effect of ‘Vaio Recovery Tools are being loaded’.
Once loaded you will have the option to recover the C drive or complete system.
