Registering my warranty

How do I register my vaio to start my 1 yr warranty or have i done that by registering here?

welcome to Club vaio..

When completing the registration you normally have to enter the purchase date, this information is used for the default warranty period..

If you wish to check the default warranty dates go to E-Support if you're new to E-support complete the registration process before proceeding..

Enter your Log-in name followed by your password into the boxes provided.

Once the Vaio support home pages loads select Manage the products you registered.

Click on the + next to the model number, then click the plus next to the Serial Number and click on default.

On the right of the screen you should see the default warranty details displayed..

Yes that is correct, however you will need to provide proof of purchase should you need to make a warranty claim..
