Reinstallation of Windows XP

My HDD died and I have had to install Win XP on the new HDD.  When windows loads all I get is a small box in the middle of the screen.  How do I fix this?

It sounds like you have not installed a Graphics Driver!

If you install a clean version of XP, you must reinstall all the drivers and Sony Utilities if you want your Vaio to work properly.
