Replacement 'Recovery and Documentation Disk'

I have a Sony Vaio PCV-RZ422P. Its reliable and quick and has never given me any problems (apart from the ones I have caused myself)so there is no reason to replace it. However, I tried to reinstall a couple of applications from the CD that came with the machine and found the CD to have a 'Checksum Error'. This CD contains XP-Pro, GigaPocket, Adobe Paintshop Pro etc and I can't use it at all. I need a replacement but can't find where I can obtain one. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

you should be able to order a set of recovery disc/s for your Vaio via Sony Vaio support,to find contact details for Sony Vaio support..

Open Vaio support, either by clicking Support at the top of this page or use the following link:Vaio support

Under Log-in option 2: Select your VAIO model, next to Select Model Category - Select your model from the drop down list, in your case PCV-RZ.

Then next to Select Model - select PCV-RZ422P

Then click Log-In

Once logged select Get In Touch
