Roomlink

I have a PVC RX201 and will be looking to buy the new Sony Roomlink product when it's available in the UK. However, I'm currently looking to see if my current PC is compatible with the Roomlink product.

From what I've read so far, is that I will require Giga Pocket PVR to stream video, the PVC RX201 did not come with this software/Hardware. Is it possible to upgrade my PC to with this. If not what are my options, will any PC-TV card/software work with the Roomlink.

You would need Giga Pocket for the full usage of Roomlink.
Sorry to tell that Goga Pocket is not on list of accesories of Sony. No otherTV-board will do the trick, because Roomlink looks for the Giga Pocket software, I believe.

I've seen the demo at CeBIT 2003, and talked to the promoters (cool guys there!) and was informed quite well there. You will need to look at the RZ-model-series, for they all come with Giga Pocket.

(Of course you can buy a RZ, and put Giga Pocket into your RX-model... just kidding.!)
