Screen just goes dead when I shut the lid

I’m completely happy with my new Vaio ( VGN-FE41M), but there is one problem, every time I close the lid, my screen goes dead. I try to bring it back to life by pressing the power button, but that doesn’t even work. The only workaround I found is to hold the power button down for 10 seconds, and then switch it back on. The weird thing is, in my settings I have it set to “Do nothing” when I shut the lid on both power settings.

Anyone have any help on how to resolve this problem?

There is a BIOS Update R0200J3 which fixes this problem.

Hi! I´ve the same problem with my VGN-FS315S, I suppose this BIOS update isnt designed for my VAIO model (as it isnt listed in the updates available for it) but Im wondering how I can fix this problem or if someone has been able to fix it...
