SD Card Reader

Hi,
I have an AW11S/B which I bought last January. I tried the SD Card Reader this week for the first time and found it doesnt recognise the SD Cards. I have tried standard SD and SDHC but it cant read either. However, if I use a USB SD card reader it finds standard SD Card but not the SDHC cards.

I think the built in SD Card reader must be faulty. Anyone know if im doing anything wrong? I assume you just put the card in the built in reader and it should find the card straight away nwithout opening any other programs.

Welcome to Club Vaio.

Does the SD card reader appear in Device Manager under Disc Drives? You should have a MS and a SD USB Device present.
