I can't download my free album which came with my VP as a promotion, because I can't use the CONNECT store with SS 3.0, and there's no other way doing so.
God I'm so pissed off with Sony at the moment.

The North American version of SonicStage 3.0 when installed points to the North American Connect site. However, it is possible to then modify the registry to point to the UK Connect site. Finally, you need to modify the region lock, again in the registry. Having done this, initialised the player, and reloaded all your songs from SonicStage 3.0 you are up and running with the UK Connect site.
I haven't posted instructions as modifying the registry is risky, but if you know what you are doing then it works.:smileyhappy:

Thanks for the suggestion, but I prefer missing an album which I didn't choose than losing something else like my programs!

I have the North American version working with my Vaio. Although I dont use the Connect side of things, everything else works and can upload my music to my Vaio.

I had an initial install of the EURO SS2.3 and then updated to the US SS3 via the online installer.

P.S. I live in the UK

There one thing that annoys me about SS3 which is whenever I have an album that contains tracks made by diffrent artists, SS will split the album into there individual artists. This then creates loads of albums with 1 track in. Why Sony?

Everyone who has the SonicStage 3.0, has the North American Version Madarbwot. Because it's the only version of SS 3.0 available out there.

Agent Smith, if you right click on the album in album view, click properties and then tick the box "compilation" you can then put together the tracks by individual artists.
If you rip a compilation CD it does this automatically.
