Sony Vaio brightness problems

Hello everyone this is my first post here. I'm a new sony vaio user and I'm having a sort of problem

My laptop screen is visibly brighter on the down side and gets darker as it goes up. I imagined it was about my visibility angle and I tried different positions but I had the same result.

Is there a solution to this problem or there's nothing I can do about it.

Let me mention that it's not disturbing but it's noticeable and sometimes,in games mostly,it gets irritating because the top side hasn't got the same brightness as the top.

Please help me about this.

Hi SonnyXS and welcome.

I can only surmise that as your notebook has dual lamps one of them (upper) is not working as it should. There is no software alteration that can be made.

I would suggest that you contact support via the tab at the top of this page.
