sony vaio laptop screen

i have a sony vaio laptop and i accidently cracked the screen. so i took out the screen but it was accidently thrown out. would anyone have the serial number for the laptop screen, or know how i could find it. i tried online and i couldnt find one. the model number for the laptop is pcg-71911m

Hi bobby88,

If you search using the correct model number as opposed to the chassis number you may have more luck in finding a screen.

Have a look in the screen surround for something like VPCExxxxx.

I have had my screen replaced. The model on my vaio is VPCEE2M1E and it is PCG61611m, not much different to yours I guess.

Bought it of ebay if you want can get you exact model?
