HELLO,
CAN ANYONE HELP WITH A PROBLEM WHEN I WANT TO SHUTDOWN MY COMPUTER IT JUST KEEPS RE STARTING, WHEN I CLICK START AND SHUTDOWN THE ICONS SHOW SHUTDOWN RE START AND STANDBY THE STAND BY ICON IS NOT HIGHLIGHTED AND YOU CANNOT PUT THE COMPUTER ON STANDBY.
THE ONLY WAY I CAN SHUTDOWN IS BY PRESSING AND HOLDING THE ON BUTTON.
ANY HELP WOULD BE WELCOME

That's very strange. Have you checked the power settings in the control panel to make sure you are allowed to go to standby?

It could be that the computer is suffering from a system failure event during shutdown. Try removing the tick from Control panel - System - Advanced - Startup and Recovery - Automatically restart.

If the computer shuts down OK after doing the above then have a look in Control panel - Administrative Tools - Event Viewer - System. See if there are any errors listed at the time of the shutdown.

Sounds like it could be a driver or hardware problem.
