could someone tell me if I can connect my 2560x1440 monitor to my SVZ131***** laptop using that native resolution?

According to the specifications for this model the max resolution for an external display is 1920 x 1200.

Hi kvazimodas,

Don’t take this as gospel as I have no knowledge of the hardware, but the ATI Radeon HD 6650M graphics chip external GPU in the Power Media Dock is, as far as I can tell, capable of displaying at 2560x1440 over HDMI in External Display mode.
