At the moment I'm a proud owner of the Sony S2XP and I was extremely tempted to sell and upgrade to the latest S3XP anyway having spoken to Sony to enquire about the machine I was told that "the machine is no longer available due to marketing reasons" eh... Some one tell me if I'm wrong but I have only noticed this machine recently maybe 2-3 months at the most why pull it so early. Clearly you can no longer buy this laptop as Sony doesn¿t even offer you the price on their website.
All you owners of the S3XP are you having any problems? Why would Sony pull the plug on a machine with the latest Intel Technology that yet has so much to offer to the consumer?
Are Sony planning a total re-vamp of the S Series machine to combat heat problems and noisy fans that I have read quite allot about. If any one has heard any news about this model I will be curious to here. Thanks.
kee-lo
remember i spoke to you about the heat a couple of weeks ago, i knew this wasnt normal and something really needs to be done about this by sony, sony need to be aware of this, there is obviously a problem with these models. alot of people are complaining of the same thing, mine is still getting hot, the first time i used it i had big red marks on my legs from the heat, this really needs investigating by sony.
Yeah I know that, and S3 owners are going to have to complain to Sony (I don't work for Sony you know)
