Sony vaio video card problem (there is no support centre in our country)

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing with intend that anyone official sony employee will see my message.

I am from Vilnius, Lithuania. In 2007-10-06 I bought a computer Sony Vaio FZ11E (there is a receipt in attachment). Recently my computer stopped working (there were some problems with view shown on screen, it was blank also with many vertical lines on the screen. I brought it to a professional who maintains computers and he said me that there a problem with my video card. Moreover he advised me, contact Sony after guarantee service, because some types of sony vaio computers some times have similar problem with video card. So, I contacted Lithuania seller who sold me that computer, and I was informed that there is no service company in Lithuania, that could repair it. I was adviced by Vaida Gruseckiene to contact Estonian service support in order to solve my problem. I contacted to
Timo Küppar
Deputy Head of IT Maintenance
InfoCare CS OÜ
Tammsaare tee 134B
12915 Tallinn Estonia
Who said me to wait, and I am just waiting, waiting, waiting....and there is no solutions. I am solving this problem for two weeks, how many weeks or month I will have to wait in order to get repaired my computer? I am absolutely irate about this situation!!!!!
Also I called to Latvian support centre a few times - but nobody picked up the phone.
Moreover, I could not find any e-mail of Sony company on internet that would be useful. It is very strange that Sony company works in such strange style.
Also there is one more picture in attachment about Sony report on video card failure on Nvidia chip. Also receipt is attached. Four years time period has not ended yet, so please advice me what to do.
8 and 7 digital code in the bottom on my computer is:
28201161     5001150
Today I tried to repair it bringing my computer to a service centre (local in Vlinius), because I am totally exhausted fighting with sony. So local employee said it will cost 290-350 eur. So maybe there is another way how you could help me. Maybe there is a chance that sony will cover that bill? I paid 1200 eur for the computer, thinking of long lasting activity of it, but now I see that it was my bad investment and for a very short time (only for 3,5 years), and now I am required to invest more 300 eur in order to repair that video card.
Waiting for your response!!! At least maybe you could send me oficial sony e-mail or postal address where I could complaint on this situation, or send registered letter, in order sony support employees could do their job. I have just was consulted by Lithuania State Consumer Rights Protection Authority and they advised me to send registered letter, because only this way of communication might have results.
Yours faithfully,
Tomas Tkacenka

I would enter your Vaio's Serial Number in the Latvia After Sales Service website here: -

http://www.vaio-link.com/computing/vaio/contacts/phone.aspx?m=VGN-FZ11E&l=en_LV

You will need to find the Out-Of Warranty premium telephone number and use this to contact Sony during office hours Monday to Friday.

I called to Estonia. Estonian employee linked me to Latvia. So I called to Latvia (Head Office of Sony Baltic). They said me wait, wait. As a result, I was explained that they cannot repair my computer and they linked me to Estonia again. So I reached Estonia again. I was informed I have to wait. After 3 days they replied that Head Manager did not let to repair my computer. I was advised to look for Service centre in Poland. I wrote an e-mail to Poland, they did not answered at all. After a day I was contacted by Sony support centre (they called me from Egypt). That service centre tried to help me to find nearest Service centre - so they found! I was offered to send my computer to Kazachstan or Arcahngelsk (Russia). I asked are there any nearer service centres because these are more then 1500 km from Vilnius. They said that this is the nearest, I guess the reason of this funny advise was because of lack of geographical knowledges employee because she had no idea where is Lithuania or Poland. After this I did not stop fighting. Lastly I send an e-mail to France. They said that France is the nearest country that service could repair my computer (video card) of course I was guaranteed that it will be done for free, but I have to pay for logistics that is 250 eur and repair will take 2-3 weeks. So I rejected they proposal because I found local computer master who could repair it for about 150 eur. So he is repairing my computer now. Before that I asked Sony if they could cover that cost if I deliver official receipt and repaired issue. Later I asked if they could cover AT LEAST 50% of that amount. They did not answered to it, later said they CANNOT. E-mails and calls game lasted for 3 weeks.

I JUST WANT TO THANK SONY THAT IT MADE SONY VAIO FZ11E WITH NVIDIA CHIP FAILURE. ALSO THAT THEY HAVE "AMAZING" SERVICE CENTRE. ACTUALLY I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW SONY COULD TRADE THAT BAD COMPUTER IN LITHUANIA AND OTHER COUNTRIES IF THEY CANNOT GIVE YOU GUARANTEE WARRANTY IN REALITY (NOTE ONLY ON THE PAPERS). I AM TOTALY DISGUSTED OF THIS SONY SITUATION AND AFTER THAT I WILL NEVER BUY ANY SONY DEVICES AND TRY TO TELL ALL MY FRIENDS ANT OTHER PEOPLE DO SO, BECAUSE THEY MIGHT FACE WITH PRACTICE OF WHAT I FACED.
