Sony Vaio VPCEE2E1E graphics not working

The grapics driver for, ATI Radeon HD 4250, this laptop doesn't work. Downloaded it from Sony and ATI website and neither work. Catalyst doesn't open, res doesn't go above 1027x768.

OS: Win 7 Ultimate SP1

also can't change brightness of screen via quick keys (FN+F5/6).

Hi Tamusz,

You seem to have installed a different OS than that originally installed (Windows Home Premium 64Bit). Have you downloaded and installed all drivers and utilities from the Support site? In particular:

SFEP driver (requires installation from within Device Manager if the Sony Firmware Extension Parser Device has a yellow warning symbol).

Setting Utility Series.

Sony Shared Library.

Vaio Event Service.

Vaio Control Center.

After installing these if the graphics are still stuck on 1027x 768 then delete the graphics driver from within Device Manager and try reinstalling.
