Sony want £65 to collect my FAULTY laptop!

I had my vaio repaired 8 weeks ago whilst still in warranty. Unfortunately the same problem has occured and I am now aborut 3 weeks out of warranty. However, as I understand it, their repair should be guaranteed for 90 days. They have agreed to come and collect it, however, they want £65 upfront which is totally ludicrious (especially in December) and I am well aware that my 90 days is slowly ticking away. I am totally furious that a laptop that was so expensive didn't even last a year and now they won't look at it without money. Anyone else had this issue???

Hi nancymay23,

I can only assume that the request for a £65 deposit is in case the current fault is not connected with the original repair and will be refunded if found to be connected.

However your concerns have been raised with Support and any feedback will be reported in this thread.
