The movie goes slow??

I have a problem: when pc is switch on any hours, when i play a movie, the sound is ok but the image is going slow!! What 's matter? thank you

I use windows media player. I suppose the problem is the notebook high temperature !! is it possible? I have got vgn a517 b. thank you for the ansewer!

Your problem may very well be CPU temperature related. Download and run MobileMeter and let us know the reported CPU temperature.

I would buy some compressed air and clean the vents.
