Touchpad driver

Since I upgraded to Vista and downloaded the new drivers for the touchpad, I always get warning messages asking me if it is OK to run apoint.exe and some other programs for the touchpad. Each time I also untick the box so that it will not ask me again next time, but it always does. It is very anoying, every time I start up the laptop, I have to click OK on 4 warning messages like this.

Anybody know how to resolve this?

Hi Milachka and welcome to Club Vaio.

This sounds like Vista's User Account Control (UAC) causing problems again!

You need to run these programs with Administrative Privileges. Find each program (like Apoint.EXE) in windows explorer. Right-click the .exe in question -> choose Properties -> on the Compatibility tab, check "Run this program as an administrator."
