TX2XP Instant Mode

TX2XP has a picture viewer for JPGs on SD cards at instant mode (LINUX partition without Windows). 1 GB SD cards (PNY technologies) work fine, but 2 GB SD cards (PNY) failed to be detected by the system. Is there any upgrade of the Instant Mode Software for 2 GB SD cards?
Thanks!

Hello BK,
Unfortunately I don't have any information in response to your question, but since you have exactly the same model VAIO as I, I would like to ask you a question. Have you had any problems running Instant Mode? I have sent the following description to the online support site. If you or anyone else has had similar experiences I would really appreciate hearing about it.

3. Detailed problem description: I was so thrilled with the Instant Mode feature on my new VAIO and I used it to view photos from an SD card. After a few days of working just great, all of a sudden when I pushed the A/V button, rather than getting the Instant Mode menu buttons on my screen, I get the VAIO, Intel, and Phoenix logos; followed by a faint "ghosted" image of the Instant Mode buttons that stays for about 2 seconds; followed again by the VAIO, Intel and Phoenix logos; and then Windows launches.

Hello halloweenqueen!
I have had similar experiences, especially after using wrong SD cards. Only after re-installing the Instant Mode software it works fine again. But re-installation cannot be a solution for this problem. I think it's time for SONY to upgrade this non-stable software. Please let me know, what the online support answered to your inquiry.
Thanks.

Today I have got the answer of the SONY online support:
Instant mode supports 1GB SD cards and 2GB Memory Sticks only. Support of 2GB SD cards or 4GB Memory cards can not be guaranteed.
