Unable to verify VAIO Update status.

Since I got my new VAIO two days ago, I keep getting this message which does not allow me if there is any update for my computer.

I did all the Windows updates but haven't been able to check for Sony's updates.

The VAIO Care software notices this issue and gives me a link to fix the issue, it is a link that says 'Click here to correct the issue.' When I click on the link, it opens the VAIO Updates application and soon after it launches a web pages with the following message...

Dear VAIO Customer,

You have arrived at this page because VAIO Update does not recognize your VAIO.
This may be a temporary problem with the VAIO Update server.

Visit the VAIO Support Website

When I clcik on the phase that says 'Visit the VAIO Support Website', it opens the VAIO Support web site home page and I do not know how to proceed from there.

I have been having multiple issues because it seems like my VAIO model, VPCZ21C5E, doesn't exist for Sony, I cannot open a ticket on the Support site because it askes for my model and because it does not recognises it, it does allow me to proceed.

Is some Sony representative in this forums? Could please someone let me know what is going on? I feel totally let down by Sony, it seems like my computer is not Sony at all.

Am I on the wrong place? I ordered my Vaio from Sony.co.uk but I know the computer was assembled in Germany. Is this an issue?

It could be a few things: -

1.  Your Vaio may be such a new model that it has not yet found its way onto the Vaio Support Database.  There may have been a delay as I know that work has been going on with the Servers.

2.  Have you registered your Vaio by entering the full Serial Number here and choosing 'Register'?  You will also have to enter by the Serial Number Route to 'Get in Touch'.

3.  The Vaio Update website may be down or busy - as I said above it is being worked on.  It may just be a matter of trying again in a few days.

4.  You can go to the manual update support page for your model here and see if there are any important updates.
