ive downloaded the manaul ok from the vaio portal. but can't find anything to actual launch/open the manual. any ideas?

I've just downloaded the manual from the Vaio support site & it seems the file is a .zip file..:smileyconfused:
The guide below worked for me..
Double click on the VPCE_K_H_J_L_EN.zip fie to extract the contents.
Once the files are extracted you should have a number of files. (Index, Index2, Contents & Common)
Click on Index.html (might be called Index depending on your Vaio's settings)
This should pen into your web browser..

normally the manual is a .PDF file which should open in adobe reader or similar..
If you do not have adobe reader installed on your Vaio then you can download the latest cersion from the adobe site..
That is strange - it does not seem possible to download the .pdf!
Try opening the .pdf in one of the following two ways: -
1. Start -> All Programs -> VAIO Care -> My Vaio -> Using My Vaio -> User Manual
2. Start -> All Programs -> VAIO Manual
I'm not sure what has changed.
