I have a vaio BZ series (BZ12VN) which required a new screen as the previous one had been cracked. I have purchased a new screen and fitted this. However the backlight on the screen did not function on the new screen. I then replaced the invertor with a new one, still no joy.
I would be greatful if anyone has any ideas on how to get the backlight working? I was thinking it could be something to do with the lid open/closed sensor
