Vaio Care constantly requires update

Each time I try to us Vaio Care I get the message "A new version of Vaio care is available. VAIO Care can not be used until it's updated. Do you want to update now?". If I click yes, the update is being installed but as soon as it has been installed I get the same message again. There's nothing saying the the update failed and in the update history it says "Download Successful". I've tried to reinstall the program but the same problem occurs again. If I click no, the same message shows again as soon as I'm trying to use VAIO Care again. Does anybody what to do about it?

the link should now work correctly, it took a while for all of the old forum links to be redirected..
