Hi there...
I have installed Vista Ultimate on the above VAIO and I have no errors showing in device manager.
When I install several of the programs available from the Sony download site they dont appear to install - eg i get no final screen showing the installation was successful! Anyone else have this problem?
Anyway - my main issue is withe the buiolt in camera - I use the original XP driver and the Camera Capture utility from the download site.
The camera does not appear under My Computer as it used to in WXP and there is no installed camera utility - either in the Start menu or in the installed programs list from the control panel.
Have Sony even tested these packages they have available?
Anyone who has similar experiences with the FE2 series and Vista please let me know!
