Hi fool4fasion and welcome to ClubVAIO.

It would be uneconomical to try and update your graphics chip - it would be cheaper to buy a new laptop!

Your ATi chip shares it's memory with your Vaio's RAM memory and can use up to 128MB which is not bad. However, unless you have increased your memory, there is probably not enough RAM available to work flat-out.

The best you can do is to increase your memory to 1024MB (your FR Series comes with only 256MB) by buying 2 X 512MB memory modules. This will help your graphics but it may never be able to cope with the latest games at full resolution.

Have a look HERE for extra memory.
