Dear All.
A while back there was repeated complaints about the CPU Fan of this model VGN-CS11S and the continuous noise it keeps producing ( Like a motor).
I noticed at the time that few members have consulted SONY for rectification but to no avail and Sony was not willing to change the fan.
I also understood from some of the members notices that SONY did update the BIOS concerning the fan in order to reduce the number of repeated runs of the motor.
I am curious to learn if any one has any immediate solution or advise to this problem, my VAIO fan is getting noisier and unacceptable despite the implementation of all the recommendations gathered from the respective members.
Please advise.

If you believe you have an issue with your CS fan then I suggest you contact Sony Vaio support as Sony are aware of the fan problem..
To find contact details for Sony Vaio support..
Open Vaio support, either by clicking Support at the top of this page or use the following link:Vaio support
Under Log-in option 2: Select your VAIO model, next to Select Model Category - Select your model from the drop down list, in your case VGN CS.
Then next to Select Model - select CS11S
Then click Log-In
Once logged select Get In Touch

I think you are right in contacting Sony directly for this issue....as I am almost sure
it is a hardware problem rather then just a BIOS update.
