Windows 7

I have just installed Win 7 on my VGN-A517S, Everthing is good exept cannot open DVD drive
without going ito my computer clicking on DVD drive and selecting Eject! Also hot key buttons do not work and volume up down buttons.

You need to install the Vista Utilties for your model (if they exist). I can't check for you if they are available because the Vaio-Link website is down again. Poxy Error again!

And install in order:

Sony Ulils DLL
Sony Shared Library
Vaio Event Service
Setting Utility Series

You will probably need a few more for other things - like Wireless Switch Setting Utility if you use wireless.
