vaio pcg-k115s

I have had my vaio PCG- k115s for about a year. lately, on starting it i hear like a rininging alarm and it does not work well. For example the brightness adjustment goes dull alone. I upgraded and followed vaio links. every time it seems it will be fine but then it does it again.
Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.

This sounds like a battery problem to me, an alarm can sound when the power level reaches 10%

Try running MobileMeter and check you battery
