vaio recovery disc

hi everyone i have a vgn-ar61m and need a new set of recovery discs as mine seem to come up with an error code when i try and run them, i'm stuck between a rock and a hard place because i have a windows 7 disc but the drivers are not available for my eject button s1 and s2 keys and my blue ray drive does not work. does anyone know how i can get hold of the original recovery discs.

Hi Jamie,

Have you tried to recover your vaio using the hidden HDD recovery.?

If not - Start your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo screen press F10 repeatedly this normally would start the recovery process..


If that doesn't work then you should be able to purchase a set of recovery disc's via Vaio support, to find contact details for Sony Vaio support..

Open Vaio support, either by clicking Support at the top of this page or use the following link:Vaio support

Under Log-in option 2: Select your VAIO model

Then click Log-In

Once logged select Get In Touch.
