Are you using the original Sony battery?

Have you tried removing the battery and cleaning the contacts?

Is the battery correctly inserted and locked?

If the answer to all of these is 'Yes', then you will need to contact Vaio Support as the battery's internal memory may have an error.

If the answer to one of these is 'No' came back with additional details.
