VGC-V2S recovery CD/DVD

Hi!
I have a Sony Vaio VGC-V2S with deffective HDD and, of course, no recovery DVD ( not anymore). I bought a new HDD, but now I have to restore my OS along with the features that camed from Sony.
How can I get a copy of those DVD`s , can anyone help me please? I desperately need them, because I can`t use my Vaio with all it`s features, especially the tv tuner. I`m waiting for an answer asap! Thanks in advance!

Hi Bladeruner,

I also have a VGC-V2S and am having fun (not) trying to locate my dead HDD to put a new one in. How did you get on fitting yours? I managed to get the black plastic cover off and now can't see how the metal protective sheet underneath comes off. All securing screws are removed (I think!) but still it won't budge (seems stuck near the PSU). Not only that, I can't see where the HDD is located. All a bit frustrating!

Hope you can point me in the right direction.
