After a week of use of the vaio flagship model, i have decided that sony hasnt powered the model enough to support this resolution. When the lapotop runs at a lower resolution everything runs ok and fast. When its at the highest everything gets slower (even the simple fact of minimizing and maximizing a window). Thats a shame because the only way you can enjoy the great display is at full resolution. Anything lower makes the display look bad.
I cant believe the fact that you cant play even the lowest demanding game at full resolution, that you cant watch a dvd with hardware acceleration enabled (at least at full resolution)
So my question to Sony is why release a laptop and fool buyers to pay so much money and get a laptop that cant live up to its reputation?
In order for this laptop to be functional i think it must be upgraded to 2.6 or 3.0 Ghz and get a 8800 video card.
