vgn-fs215b problem with hotkeys

Hi.
I've a problem after complete reinstalling my vaio (format c: etc). I've installed win xp pro and all of the hardware. The only thing i found out that doesn't work is hotkeys (like Fn+f4 for volume, S1, S2 etc.) and i don't have a clue what to do with it. I went to vaio support site but i couldn't find any manual about how to deal with it. I've installed all drivers from the original website, but it doesn't work. Could anyone help me with this?

Hi trelka and welcome to the forum.

Download the pre-installed utilities for your model from Vaio Link and extract the file. Then install the following in this order:

1 Sony Utilities (Installer Folder 1)
2 Sony Shared Library (Installer Folder 2)
3 Vaio Event Services (Installer Folder 7)

Then re-boot.

You may find that you need to repeat this process a couple times before the hotkeys work.
