Hi Again Guys.
I have a tiiiiny little problem. At the logon screen, where the list if users can click and log on to Windows, if you leave it for about 5 minutes this message comes up.
"There were no files found"
A totally blank screen with those white words.
What do i do?
Thanks for taking the time to read.
Travis.
Hmmmm, Well I'm running out of ideas...
Have you tried doing a system restore (Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Restore) to a point before the screensaver "There were no files found" message appeared?
*Nods head* I have tried that, however still said it.
I guess it isn't a big deal, just annoying.
Thank you for trying to help me out at least
Travis.
Hi Travis,
If you right click on the logon.scr file and select Test, (you will need to keep the mouse pointer still) does it run correctly?
Hi Thalamus,
Yeah, after doing the test, it runs properly there... but still not at the log on screen.
I think i'm just gonna throw it outta the window!
Hi Travis,
Well I guess if becomes to much of an annoyance you can always use the Vaio Recovery Utility...:smileywink:
I know, thought about that. That would be the 4th time i'd have used that utility!!
Thank you for trying to help anyway.
Travis.
