VGN-S1XP Reinstall without the bloatware

I like my laptop but something tells me it would be better without all the bloatware. That and all the issues that I had to fix following SP2.

Has anyone tried a clean install without the bloatware? What is the best way to do this? How and when to do SP2? Can I still install the Sony versions of Photoshop and Premiere without doing a full restore?

It's not possible now since they have 1 DVD to do the lot, before it used to be a case of not putting in the applications recovery disk.

I guess you could go and get another copy of XP, but this doesn't always work and some things are missing.

It's a pain really, I would go down the road of uninstalling what you consider "bloatware"
