VGN-SZ1HP - Problem with power supply?

Hi guys,

I bought a brand new laptop acouple of months ago, as above, and have noticed a problem. (Problems I never had with my 5 year old Toshiba prior to this one)!

When I unplug it from the mains power to use it on the battery power, it freezes and I have to hold down the power button to switch it off and then on again every time. It also occurs the pther way around i.e whenI plug it in having been using it on battery power. It's so inconvenient as often lose work!

Is there a remedy to this, or is it just a poor design?

I'd be very grateful for some help please chaps, i'm lost here!

Hi Kerr Nice,

This is almost certainly a hardware problem as the transition between AC power and battery should be seamless. I can only suggest that you open a case with Sony support
