VGN-SZ3XWP/C 2GB Memory Limit

I recently got a Vaio VGN-SZ3XWP/C PC as my work PC. It's a great machine, but I could with upgrading from 2GB memory to 4GB.

The supplied manuals and Sony website both say that the maximum memory is 2GB. Does anyone know whether this is the definite memory limit, or whether swapping out the 2x1GB chips for 2x 2GB memory chips would work?

You're best bet is to contact crucial (www.crucial.com) as sometimes they test these machines for maximum RAM capacity.
