I have a vgn-t2xp and have just bought a Samsung Syncmaster 215TW monitor to use with it.
When using the external monitor either as standalone primary display or as cloned or extended display, the image is lost as soon as I logon.
Image is fine from boot to logon.
I've tried with a fresh XP user profile - same issue.
Laptop is connected via the vga port on the monitor. I have tried with a different pc & it works fine. Strangely, when I connect the vaio to the samsung vga port via a Belkin VVM switch I get a display (not very clear image but its there). Its only when I conect direct from the vaio to the samsung vga port i get the problem.
Ive tried with the original Sony display driver & with the latest 6.14.10.4497 from Intel.
Also tried with & without the Samsung monitor drivers.
Can anyone help - this is driving me mad.
