I need to reset my TX3HP back to its factory condition but have accidentally deleted the recovery partition.
Can anybody sell me a copy of the two backup disks?, I have only had the notepad 3 days.
Please mail me at an2ony17@tiscali.co.uk
Many thanks, I hope somebody can help me.

Your best bet might be to contact the shop that you got the laptop form as they might be able to make a copy off the display computer.
Or contact sony support but they will probabuly charge you for the privalage.
Hi an2ony17,
Welcome to Club Vaio,
Just to be sure the recovery partition has been deleted you could try pressing F10 repeatedly when starting you vaio, this normally would start the recovery process..
If that does not work then you will have to contact Vaio-Link to purchase a new set of recovery DVD's..:smileysad:
Hi Anthony and welcome to Club Vaio.
Check Here: -
Start -> Right-Click My Computer -> Manage -> Disc Management
Can you still see the Recovery Partition pluc C:\ and D:\ ?
Hooray!!
The F10 trick worked a treat, my 2 day old TX3 is back to out of the box condition.
Thank you all for the quick replies, I am very grateful!.

:smileycool:You're welcome Anthony, glad the problems sorted..
Now maybe be a good time to create a couple sets of Vaio Recovery DVD's..:smileywink:
