I recently purchased the Sony VGN-Z11WN notebook, and have also purchased the appropriate docking station, the Sony VGP-PRZ1. This docking station has both VGA and DVI-D connectors, although no matter what I try, I cannot get the laptop to use both of these connections simultaneously.
I would therefore instead like to purchase a 30" HD display, which runs via DVI at 2560x1600. To run a monitor at this resolution from the DVI port, dual-link DVI is required. Does anyone know if the VGN-Z11WN / VGP-PRZ1 combination supports this resolution through the DVI-D connection?
