hi i have the above laptop with 1gb of ram  2* 520 modules is it possible to upgrade this to 2gb,

if so how do i do it please regards John

Hi John,

Yes, your VGN-A297XP will accept 2GB of memory (2 X 1GB Modules).

You will need to buy two modules of 1GB each @ £38.76 each - many of us buy from Crucial.com who guarantee compatibility and give a good service and quick free delivery: -
